What are your opening hours?

Monday to Friday: 08h30 to 17h00

How do I view your products?

We are an online store only and do not have a physical store or a showroom for you to view products before purchase. All our products and prices are listed on our site and are always kept up to date.

Can I come and purchase from your offices or store?

Unfortunately not, we are an online store and we don’t operate as a walk-in store. You are welcome to collect, but the order will still need to be placed online. If you choose to collect we will notify you via email once the order is ready for collection.

 

Collections and Delivery

How long will my order take to arrive (within South Africa)?

You should receive your order within 7 working days should you choose for it to be delivered to your billing address and not with the next package to your local Shofar congregation, but we’ll do everything possible to make sure it’s quicker depending on the availability status of each item.

Should you choose for your package to be delivered free of charge to your local Shofar congregation with their next package ordered, you will have to wait until we send them a package. Delivery of your package is then dependent on your local Shofar congregation.

How long will my order take to arrive (International)?

Delivery usually takes place within 2 or 3 weeks following dispatch, however, seasonal peaks, delays in customs and other factors outside of our control may on occasion cause delivery to take longer.

When do you deliver?

Our couriers generally deliver from Monday to Friday between 08h00 – 12h00 and 14h00 – 17h00.

Can you deliver after hours & on weekends?

Unfortunately not after hours but we can request at an extra cost for packages to be delivered on Saturdays.

Can you deliver on public holidays?

Unfortunately not.

How do Post Office and PostNet collections work?

You are welcome to add your Post Box or nearest PostNet address as your billing address and we will do the rest.

When the order is dispatched, it will be shipped to the Post Office or PostNet branch, and once it arrives, you’ll be notified by the branch. You’ll require your ID/licence to complete the collection.

When do I pay for my courier/postage fees?

Unfortunately we’re still in the process of incorporating these fees to be paid online thus in the meantime you will be invoiced after delivery has taken place and can pay these fees via EFT.

 

International Shipping

Do I have to pay for VAT and customs, and if so when do I pay?

Yes, you will have to pay for VAT and Customs when the order arrives in the country you are sending it to.

How do I work out the Customs on my order?

Customs and duties are sadly out of our control and are determined by the customs officers and laws in the country to which the product is being shipped.

What are your international delivery charges?

The delivery charge is worked out by calculating the value, size and weight of the box.

Order, Tracking and Delivery

Where is my order?

You will receive an email as soon as your order is dispatched with the tracking number to keep you updated on your order as it is on its way.

Can the courier call before delivery?

Our couriers do not call before delivering. However, as soon as we dispatch your order we will send you an email with the tracking details so that you can track the delivery progress online. If the couriers were unable to deliver on their first attempt they will phone you to arrange a suitable time.

 

Payment and Pricing

What are my payment options?

We have many payment options available when you check out. You can use:

SnapScan
PayGate (Credit Card, EFT Bank Transfer or PayPal payments)
If you would like to pay part or all of your order with a coupon, that is an option on the “Checkout” page.

Can I pay using a debit card?

Yes, if your Debit card has a CVV number and an expiry date, as well as a Visa, Mastercard, you can use it to make your payment.

What is a CVV number?

The CVV Number (Card Verification Value) on your credit card or debit card is a 3 digit number on VISA® and MasterCard® branded credit and debit cards.

How do I pay using a credit card?

When you select Paygate as the payment option on the checkout page, you will be directed to a secure payment page where you can enter your credit card details. This process is safe and secure. Our payment gateways only use the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website.

Is paying by credit card safe?

How do I pay via EFT?

Can I place an order and pay only when collecting or on delivery?

Unfortunately not. All orders must be placed and paid for online before an order can be processed.

Can I part pay?

You cannot part pay with your credit card and pay the balance via EFT.

How do I pay using the SnapScan App?

You will need to have the SnapScan app installed on your mobile phone and a credit card loaded.
On the checkout page, simply select the SnapScan payment option and click “Order and pay now”.
From there, you will be redirected to our SnapScan payment page, where we’ve generated a unique QR payment code for you to use.
If browsing on your desktop, simply scan the QR code using the SnapScan app on your mobile phone to pay. Once you’re done, hit the “Check payment” button to see if your payment is complete.
If browsing on your mobile, simply tap the QR code to launch the SnapScan app to pay. Once you’ve paid successfully, you’ll be redirected to a confirmation page.
What is SnapScan and where can I download the app?

SnapScan is a convenient way to pay using your smartphone. You can learn more about the app here.

iPhone / iOS users can download the app from the Apple App Store
Android users can download the app from Google Play
BlackBerry users can download the app from BlackBerry World
Is SnapScan safe to use?

Yes. Your credit card details are encrypted and stored safely and securely on your phone – neither the Shofar Online Store nor SnapScan store your credit card details. The app requires a pin (or thumbprint for Touch ID-enabled Apple devices) to be entered before any transaction can be completed. You can learn more about SnapScan’s security here.

How do I get an invoice for my order?

You will be able to print your invoice from the order confirmation email. The subject is, “Your Shofar Christian Church order from (Month, Day, Year) is complete”

Alternatively, you are logged into your account you can print the invoice by following these steps:

– Click on ‘My Account’
– Click on ‘Orders’
– Click on ‘download invoice (pdf)’ next to the relevant order

Have you received my payment?

As soon as we receive your payment we will send you an email to confirm that your order has been placed successfully. The subject will be, “Your Shofar Christian Church order from (Month, Day, Year) is complete.

I lost connection while trying to pay and I’m not sure if my payment was successful?

If your payment was successful you will receive an email confirming your payment and order.

Returns

How do I return an order?

If we have delivered the wrong product, a faulty product, or if you received your order and it was not in one piece please log a return case. You can do so by sending us an email at orders@shofaronline.org

How do I exchange an order?

You can exchange your order by logging an exchange case. You can do so by sending us an email at orders@shofaronline.org

How long do I have to return an order?

You will need to have logged a return case within 14 days of delivery and we will gladly collect your order at our expense and provide you with a refund or replacement provided the item is unused and in its original packaging. Create a return case by sending us an email to orders@shofaronline.org

We reserve the right to charge a 10% administration fee for returned orders should the returns process.

When can I expect my refund?

We will make sure your refund is back in your account within 14 days of receiving your returned product.

 

My Account

How do I create an account?

To create an account go here and click on ‘Register’. Complete the fields with your details, click on ‘register’ at the bottom and scroll on to our products and courses.

How do I edit my details?

Login and click on My Account and then on Account Details on the left hand side. Here you can change your email address and password. Alternatively click on Addresses and then on ‘Edit’ to change your billing/delivery details

How do change or edit my saved physical address?

Login and click on My Account and then on Addresses and then on ‘Edit’ to change your billing/delivery details. All saved addresses can be edited from there.

I’m having trouble logging in to Shofar Online Store.

Please make sure you are using the correct email address and password. If you’ve forgotten your password make sure you click on Lost Password to get you up and running again.

I forgot my password, what now?

If you can’t remember your password, just go to the log in page and click on Lost Password Enter your email address and we’ll email you a link to reset it.

How do I change my password?

Go to My account and click on Account Details. Complete the required fields with your password details and click on save changes at the bottom.

Can I change the email I use to log into Shofar Online Store?

Go to My account and click on Account Details. Change your email address to the one you’d prefer and click on save changes at the bottom to ensure this new email address has been stored.

 

Courses

How do I register for Bible School?

Was my course registration successful?

You will receive an email to confirm your course registration. The subject line will be “”Your Shofar Christian Church order from (Month, Day, Year) is complete.” This email will contain all information to access your course on the Shofar Institute E-learning site.

Can I register for other people?

Only if you logout and register them separately on their own accounts. If you register someone else on your account they won’t have access to the course (tests and examinations)

Where do I access my course once I’ve made payment?

All courses are hosted on the Shofar Institute E-learning site. Use your email address and Shofar Online Store password to login.

I can’t login to the course?

To login use your email address and Shofar Online Store password.

My course isn’t visible when I am logged in to the Shofar Institute E-learning site?

On your first login after you have registered for a new course the E-learning site will need approximately 20minutes to sync your details with your purchase on the Shofar Online Store. Please refresh the page after a while. For more info please consult your order confirmation email that contains the “Shofar Institute E-learning Guide for Students” as a free downloadable document.

I have registered but want to cancel my course now.

Registration fees are non-refundable because all campuses offer the first 3 weeks as open and free sessions to ensure that students who are still in doubt have the opportunity to make an informed decision. You are welcome to discuss your situation with your campus administrator.

Can I transfer my registration to another course?

Registrations cannot be transferred from one semester to the next (for example you cannot register for Bible School 101 in 2016 and fail to attend class and ask for your registration to be transferred to 2017).
